JEO Ministry

MISSION STATEMENT:
JEO is a media, teaching and community outreach ministry that seeks to share Christ
and strengthen the church.

OVERVIEW:
JEO is a media, teaching and community outreach ministry that seeks to share the love of Christ and to strengthen the churches, impacting the society. Our vision at JEO is to see the churches flourishing and the Arabs in the Holy Land coming to Christ.

Because we believe that "no one comes to the Father except through [Christ]" (John 14:6), we are prompted by love and the command of our Lord to proclaim to all the good news of what He has done. We are commanded by Christ to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that [He has] commanded [us]." (Matthew 28:19-20)

Problem being solved?
Our core competences are centered around four strategic areas: Christian media production from the Holy Land; community outreach (e.g. relief, elderly home care, and orphanages) to areas where people are in great need and perhaps have never encountered a Christian; Bible archaeology tours for locals and an active network of Christian materials distribution.

JEO records and produces Arabic CDs, DVDs and videos as well as television programs. In addition, since we have permission to copy many Christian media products in the Mid-East, we are able to duplicate and distribute these media materials easily. These materials, including Bibles, Christian literature, Biblical movies and worship CDs, are then distributed to people all over the Holy Land through evangelistic outreach events, Christian fellowship gatherings and relief work. Since September 2012, we have also been distributing materials for Christian media libraries in various schools.

How are you solving it?
Due to the high unemployment and poverty rates in Palestine, the need for basic necessities continues to grow. Our relief department does its best to meet these needs by collecting and distributing food boxes which include literature on the life of Jesus. One box can feed a family of 5 for up to 3 weeks. We also visit some orphanages and elderly homes. We spend some time in fellowship and help them physically. In addition, during Christmas, we visit these orphanages, local handicapped organizations, individual families and schools in both Israeli and Palestinian territories, providing them with Christmas gifts. These gifts include materials such as stuffed animals, toys, chocolates, books, clothing, and of course a DVD on the Truth of Christmas.

Why are you qualified?
Our core competences are centered around four strategic areas: Christian media production from the Holy Land; community outreach (e.g. relief, elderly home care, and orphanages) to areas where people are in great need and perhaps have never encountered a Christian; Bible archaeology tours for locals and an active network of Christian materials distribution.

What is the urgency?
JEO ministry operates in a constant condition of division among Israeli Jews and Palestinians in our attempt to share the Gospel of salvation with Arabs in both countries. In the midst of this ongoing storm we are attempting to break down that dividing wall. By sharing the Gospel we build up the community of Christians and in turn the body of the church.
