The BEA is in a position to be bold; to be a catalyst for positive change in what has been labeled a “Talent Pipeline by Design.” The time is right for a designed, systematic, adaptable and repeatable talent development system that meets the needs of students and employers alike. Business and education leaders have enthusiastically encouraged BEA to continue expansion of its reach and are vowing support in the form of time, talent and treasure.
We have much work to do to ensure that our regional talent pipeline continues a transition from an impersonal and transactional system to an intentional, experiential and relational system. The hope is that someday in the not too distant future, businesses can replace entry level “post and hope” job ads with known students as direct hires from this new talent development system.
