You can help provide medical care and training for medical professionals for a Central Asian village!

In 2011, we began operating a small preschool and medical clinic from the home of a widow in a village on the northern edge of Bishkek. This blossomed into a primary-care clinic when the local government graciously provided land for us to build a facility. The clinic opened just before Christmas, 2014.

This clinic is the only source for primary medical care in a village of almost 4,000 people.

Every gift helps! $5 provides a prenatal visit for an expectant mother. $50 provides half a day of medical care for the village.

Check out the progress on the Araketke Facebook page, and please consider contributing to this great long-term work. Or contact us at araketke@gmail.com for more information on how you can be involved.
