Soma Biblia-Read the Bible

While Soma Biblia aims to serve Christians in Tanzania by providing them with sound Christian literature, we also want to go to the unreached part of the population with the gospel through tracts, booklets and Bibles.

Within Soma Biblia we work to fulfil our mission in  different ways.

- we sell and distribute Christian literature through our bookshops in Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Mbeya, Iringa and Mwanza, and also through our mobile distribution network visiting churches, schools, marketplaces across the country.

- We publish original and translated books in Swahili, and each year we publish a Bible-calendar in Swahili aiming to encourage daily reading of the Bible. We also publish "Twende" - meaning "Let´s go" The only Christian children´s magazine in Tanzania. The aim of the magazine, is to spread the good news of the gospel in an easy language and to nourish the children´s faith.
