STEVEN PRENSNER

President & Chief Executive Officer
Steve received a B.A. from Howard Payne College, an M.B.A. from Southern Illinois University and a Doctorate in Missiology from New Geneva. He serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of New Horizons, and he also serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations. Steve enjoys seeing different entities come together to have synergistic impact, and he has a desire to see every staff person fulfill his/her complete purpose in life. Steve and his wife, Melanie, have 4 grown sons and 7 grandchildren. He enjoys sports, woodworking, and time with his family and grandchildren.

FINANCE TEAM

Chris Rosenhahn

Vice President of Finance

Chris has been with the Foundation since 2010 and currently serves as the Vice President of Finance. He provides support for the Operating Projects and oversees the Donor Advised Funds and Charitable Trusts. His desire is to see people reach their potential and to help them launch their visions around the world. Chris has a background in banking, sales and finance, as well as working with Not-For-Profit organizations. He enjoys time with his four kids and wife, anything outdoors, cars and good books.

Margene Benton

Foreign Exchange Accounts Payable Specialist

Margene came to the foundation in 2009 with a background in legal assistance, finance and office administration. Margene supports Accounts Payable with International Wires and other disbursements. She assists our CEO and takes care of the office needs, and she ensures that staff have what they need to perform their jobs. Margene and her husband have two grown and married children, and they have 7 granddaughters. She enjoys spending time with family, all things music and the arts, caring for her three rescue dogs, reading and gardening.

Joan Coupland

Accounts Payable Specialist
Joan joined New Horizons Foundation in 2019, and she is serving as the Accounts Payable Specialist, ensuring that vendors and project managers receive the funds they need. She came to the Foundation with a background in accounting and office administration, working in a CPA firm for over 20 years. Joan loves to lead and help women in their walk of faith through home fellowships. She is excited to be a part of New Horizons vision to help others take their vision to the world.

Theresa Gonzales

Donation Services Supervisor
Theresa is the Donation Services Supervisor for New Horizons Foundation. She supervises account information via document processing and record keeping, and by responding to donor inquiries. She is an innovative problem solver with over 20 years of experience enhancing finance operations. She enjoys training and guiding staff for success, and she has a strong aptitude for bringing together cross-functional teams and creating collaborative environments. Theresa likes making sure all records are accurate, delivering great customer service. She enjoys reading, jig saw puzzles, gardening and working with her hands.

Sue Isner

Senior Accountant
Sue provides financial support at New Horizons, where she supports financial strategy and infrastructure management. She is passionate about individuals taking their vision to the world! Since receiving her Double Major in Accounting and Business from Regis University, Sue has worked for various non-profit organizations in the financial management arena from Internal auditing to the CFO role. In her spare time, Sue and her husband, Blake, enjoy all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.

Robin Jorgenson

Accounts Receivable
Robin serves in Donor Services, and her primary responsibility is Accounts Receivable. She started at New Horizons Foundation in 2019, coming from a background in customer service, purchasing, buying and printing. She has a degree from the University of Akron, Ohio. Robin’s passions are traveling and getting outside in beautiful Colorado; hiking and camping with her friends, kids and grandkids. She loves serving people and is honored to help our donors, project managers and everyone she can.

DARIUS ROTEA

DARIUS ROTEA

Director of Operations

Darius serves as the Director of Operations for the Foundation. He oversees support for Operating Projects, and he also oversees the administrative work to several other related organizations. Darius has a background in banking and not-for-profit organizations, and he also holds a teaching license in the state of Colorado. He is a graduate of Rhema Bible College where he studied Missions. He is a graduate of Oral Roberts University where he double majored in Business and Administration, and also received his MBA. His strengths are in management, personal finance, and strategic planning. Darius enjoys spending time with his family, playing any sport, and watching his favorite NBA team, the Toronto Raptors.

KACIE CAUDLE

Operations Specialist & Executive Assistant

Kacie Caudle supports our operations department in a variety of ways, focusing primarily on processing distribution requests and keeping project files up-to-date and in compliance. Before starting with New Horizons, Kacie attended Georgia College and State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Masters of Arts and Teaching in Special Education. She taught in the public school system for five years and then went on the World Race, a mission’s trip that took her to eight countries in eight months. After completing a discipleship and leadership academy, she moved to Colorado at the end of July to join the New Horizons team. Outside of work, Kacie enjoys being outdoors, reading books, and serving our community.

TORIE ENOS

Operations Specialist

As part of the Operations team Torie assists our project managers with their financial requests, keeping their projects in compliance as well as any questions they may have. Before joining the New Horizons team, Torie got her business degree from Pikes Peak State College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She has enjoyed getting to be a part of New Horizons Foundation by helping project managers and coming alongside their missions to make a bigger impact. When Torie has free time she loves to enjoy the outdoors, hiking, climbing, camping, and more.

Operations & Communications Specialist

Emily is an Operations and Communications Specialist and has been with the New Horizons Foundation since 2019. She supports our project managers in Operations with all aspects of their project management and program activity. Additionally, she supports our Media team with a variety of marketing and communication special projects. Emily has a B.A in Professional Communication from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Her favorite part of being at New Horizons is the opportunity to work with people from all over the globe and all different walks of life. When not at work, Emily spends her time enjoying her family, connecting with her small group, and globetrotting as the Lord allows.

GREG SMITH

Director of Outreach
Greg has been with the Foundation since 2012 and currently serves as the Director of Outreach for New Horizons Foundation. Greg is involved in capacity building and partnering with individuals and non-profit organizations desiring to increase their global impact. Greg holds a B.A. in Accounting and Economics with a minor in Computer Science from Anderson University. Greg enjoys time with family, endurance cycling, playing the saxophone and many outdoor activities.
