Voices4Nigeria

We are Voices in America who are speaking out about the persecution, murder, kidnapping, human trafficking and slavery occurring in Nigeria due to terrorism.

Boko Haram, a radical Islamist movement affiliated with ISIS, has vowed to convert Africa to Islam by force. They have made a significant impact in Nigeria by systematically murdering, torturing, and forcing people to flee their homes who will not convert to Islam. This has caused a huge displacement of people who have escaped Boko Haram's atrocities with only the clothes on their backs.

3.3 million Christians and other marginalized groups are now living in five refugee camps without clothing, shelter, food, water, and medical aid which are mainly in northern Nigeria.

Our goal is to promote awareness and raise funds to deliver needed items to these Nigerians impacted by terrorism to help bring relief, hope, and restoration to their lives. We work directly with a group based in Nigeria - an NGO that has been vetted by both the US and Nigerian governments, the US State Department, and the United Nations.

This group was entrusted with the care of some of the kidnapped schoolgirls (April 2014) who were able to escape from Boko Haram. They work in the middle of the violence and chaos in northern Nigeria to bring comfort, hope, and relief to the displaced and voiceless in their beloved country.

CURRENTLY, an anonymous donor has offered to match up to $5000 to purchase and distribute food to the starving victims of Boko Haram in the IDP camps in northeastern Nigeria. They will match every dollar raised from now until September 18th. Our partners in Nigeria will purchase the food and then personally travel to the area to deliver it to the most needy. The UN has declared that this area of Nigeria is "on the brink of famine", with hundreds dying daily and thousands more lives hang in the balance. We cannot wait; let's raise $10,000 in food to send to our starving brothers and sisters today!
