Dementia Education & Research Network

Dementia Education & Research Network
Alzheimer’s and dementia does not discriminate – it affects all genders and every ethnic group.  However, traditionally underserved communities and vulnerable populations bear a disproportional risk, have poorer outcomes, and have higher incidences of Alzheimer’s and other related dementias. Dementia Education & Research Network is committed to improving the competence of the systems and workforce that routinely encounter and contribute to the care and welfare of aging Americans, by specifically addressing the unmet dementia training and education needs of our target populations. Dementia Education & Research Network will become a national best - practice standard of training and education for institutions that serve our aging, vulnerable and underserved communities.
