Academic Missions Group (AMG)

We serve fellow Christian Schools and missions organizations that have a need for Christian teachers and student outreach. Our purpose is to serve and help by using our gifting and skills in teaching and curriculum development for K-12 schools and universities. We also want to help recruit and train other missionaries who can serve in the same capacity towards those organizations that lack or need Christian teachers.

Our vision is that the local students would grow to understand the Gospel and live a life for Christ. That we may be able to serve and invest in the next generation of Christians and use academia as a means to serve and help others. We hope to influence and recruit other Christians who have the gift and skill of teaching to come along and serve where there is a need for Christian teachers and student outreach.

We currently serve in in three major projects:

1) Amazon Valley Academy (K-12): this is an old missionary Christian school where we currently teach Christian based curriculum and help build the school's programs and outreach towards the students. Robert currently teaches Old Testament Survey I & II, Speech and World History for the High School program I hopes of building the High School ministry backup.

2) Christian Curriculum: we are currently creating Christian curriculum for high school students for the following subjects: Old & New Testament Survey, Romans, Intro to Theology, Gospel Primer, World History, Art History. Our goal is to create the workbooks and texts for Christian schools and missionaries so they may have free access to Christian curriculum.

3) College Outreach Groups: we are currently working on developing two college outreach groups; each group being in-person and online. The first group is a Biblical Theology group for Christian college students who desire to grow in their relationship with Christ. Our focus is teaching how to practice basic Bible study and grow in an understanding of theology. Our second group is a Philosophy Group for college students who do not profess Christ. Our hope for this outreach group is to offer a way to invite non-Christian students to share their beliefs and ideologies in hopes of sharing the Gospel of Christ with them. Rob will be focused on reaching out to the colleges he currently teaches at.

There are many other missions projects we hope to help with along the way: tribal outreach, prison ministries, orphanage ministry, building projects. If you are interested in helping with any future projects please contact us. We are always on the look out for short-term missionaries or long-term missionaries to help out.
