Matt Wong is an Asian-American. His parents immigrated here 45 years ago to start a new life. He was born in inner-city Los Angeles and discovered Jesus during his freshmen year in college. He realized that to have a meaningful life, he needed Jesus (not money, cars, nice things, status, etc). While earning his B.A in Education at Cal Poly, he was also devoted to his ministry with Campus Crusade and EPIC (asian-american ministry). He has went onto various mission trips around the world including Thailand and a year of mission work in China. God grew his heart towards international students after his year of mission in China. Matt just couldnt get enough of loving students. So he spent the next 4 years doing international student ministry at Cal Poly Pomona, UCLA and USC. He feels that God called him in this mission field because of the way he unique background, skills and desire to see lives transformed for Christ.

“ I thank my God every time I remember you (my supporters). In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confidents of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Phillipians 1:3-6

Thank you for being part of something eternal.

Thank you for investing in HIS kingdom.

Thank you for making a difference in the lives of International students.
