STEVE PRENSNER

President & Chief Executive Officer
Steve received a B.A. from Howard Payne College, an M.B.A. from Southern Illinois University and a Doctorate in Missiology from New Geneva. He serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of New Horizons, and he also serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations. Steve enjoys seeing different entities come together to have synergistic impact, and he has a desire to see every staff person fulfill his/her complete purpose in life. Steve and his wife, Melanie, have 4 grown sons and 7 grandchildren. He enjoys sports, woodworking, and time with his family and grandchildren.

FINANCE TEAM

Chris Rosenhahn

Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance

Chris has been with the Foundation since 2010 and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance. He provides support for the Operating Projects and oversees the Donor Advised Funds and Charitable Trusts. His desire is to see people reach their potential and to help them launch their visions around the world. Chris has a background in banking, sales and finance, as well as working with Not-For-Profit organizations. He enjoys time with his four kids and wife, anything outdoors, cars and good books.

Margene Benton

Foundation & Account Support / Foreign Exchange AP Specialist

Margene came to the foundation in 2009 with a background in legal assistance, finance and office administration. Margene supports Accounts Payable with International Wires and other disbursements. She assists our CEO and takes care of the office needs, and she ensures that staff have what they need to perform their jobs. Margene and her husband have two grown and married children, and they have 7 granddaughters. She enjoys spending time with family, all things music and the arts, caring for her rescue dog, reading and gardening.

Joan Coupland

Accounts Payable Specialist

Joan joined New Horizons Foundation in 2019, and she is serving as the Accounts Payable Specialist, ensuring that vendors and project managers receive the funds they need. She came to the Foundation with a background in accounting and office administration, working in a CPA firm for over 20 years. Joan loves to lead and help women in their walk of faith through home fellowships. She is excited to be a part of New Horizons vision to help others take their vision to the world.

Theresa Gonzales

Donation Services Supervisor

Theresa is the Donation Services Supervisor for New Horizons Foundation. She supervises account information via document processing and record keeping, and by responding to donor inquiries. She is an innovative problem solver with over 20 years of experience enhancing finance operations. She enjoys training and guiding staff for success, and she has a strong aptitude for bringing together cross-functional teams and creating collaborative environments. Theresa likes making sure all records are accurate, delivering great customer service. She enjoys reading, jig saw puzzles, gardening and working with her hands.

Sue Isner

Senior Accountant

Sue provides financial support at New Horizons, where she supports financial strategy and infrastructure management. She is passionate about individuals taking their vision to the world! Since receiving her Double Major in Accounting and Business from Regis University, Sue has worked for various non-profit organizations in the financial management arena from Internal auditing to the CFO role. In her spare time, Sue and her husband, Blake, enjoy all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.

CHAD JEFFREYS

IT Project Manager

Chad stewards our information systems, working to position the foundation’s technologies to serve the needs of our constituents and staff and fulfill our mission, values, and strategies. Chad has over 30 years in software development, business analysis, systems and data design, and managing IT teams and projects. In addition to IT work, Chad is a pastor in the men’s ministry of his church and has served as a senior pastor and in staff pastor roles over the last twenty years as well as collegiate ministry with the Navigators. Chad and his wife have four grown children and eight grandchildren. They love spending time with family and friends, camping, and mentoring individuals and couples.

Robin Jorgenson

Donor Services

Robin serves in Donor Support, and her primary responsibility is Accounts Receivable. She started at New Horizons Foundation in 2019, coming from a background in customer service, purchasing, buying and printing. She has a degree from the University of Akron, Ohio.
Robin’s passions are traveling and getting outside in beautiful Colorado; hiking and camping with her friends, kids and grandkids. She loves serving people and is honored to help our donors, project managers and everyone she can.

DARIUS ROTEA

Vice President of Operations

Darius is the foundation’s Vice President of Operations. He oversees the project operations, building operations, office and warehouse space leasing, media, and onboarding departments. He also oversees the administrative work of several other related nonprofit organizations. Darius has a background in banking and not-for-profit organizations. He received his bachelor’s degree from Oral Roberts University where he double majored in Business and Theology. Darius went on to receive his MBA from ORU. He also graduated from Rhema Bible College where he studied Missions and was the captain of the soccer team. His strengths are in management, personal finance, and strategic planning. Darius loves spending time with his family, playing competitive sports, and coaching his four children in soccer.

Operations Specialist

As part of the Operations team Torie assists our project managers with their financial requests, keeping their projects in compliance as well as any questions they may have. Before joining the New Horizons team, Torie got her business degree from Pikes Peak State College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She has enjoyed getting to be a part of New Horizons Foundation by helping project managers and coming alongside their missions to make a bigger impact. When Torie has free time she loves to enjoy the outdoors, hiking, climbing, camping, and more.

FAITH FOWLER

Operations Specialist

Faith Fowler is our newest Operations Specialist at New Horizons Foundation, where she assists our project managers with their financial requests, keeping their projects in compliance, as well as any questions they may have. With 5 years of experience in customer service, Faith brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for assisting others to achieve their goals. Before joining New Horizons Foundation, Faith served 2 years with The Navigators as an Executive Assistant for the International Department. Outside of work, Faith enjoys spending time outside, reading, and rock climbing. Fun Fact: Faith is a born and raised Colorado Native.

ANGELA HOUDER

Receptionist & Operations Support

Angela joined the team at New Horizons Foundation in January of 2024. She serves as the receptionist, Operations Assistant, and oversees hospitality. She has a heart to see people thrive in using their passions and giftings to make a difference in the world and loves the unique way that New Horizons is empowering people to do this across the globe and across all spheres of society. A large part of her passion comes from her personal experience in ministry stateside and overseas. Angela graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Bethany Global University with a double major in Bible and Theology and Intercultural Studies and a minor in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. She enjoys being outdoors, connecting with other people, and trying new things!

Onboarding Manager

Emily is the Onboarding Manager and has been with the New Horizons Foundation since 2019. In Onboarding, Emily meets with individuals interested in partnering with New Horizons and facilitates the onboarding and training of new projects. Emily has a B.A in Professional Communication from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Her favorite part of being at New Horizons is the opportunity to work with people from all over the globe and all different walks of life. When not at work, Emily spends her time enjoying her family, connecting with her small group, and globetrotting as the Lord allows.

Graphic and Web Designer

Grace joined the New Horizons Foundation in 2024 as the Graphic and Web Designer and coordinates all visual communication. She is passionate about creating thoughtful designs that engage the community with the Foundation’s values to create a lasting impact. Grace studied at Baylor University where she obtained a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in French. After college, she participated in The Forge Leadership Development Program and then moved to Colorado in September to start at New Horizons. Outside of work, Grace enjoys being in nature, relaxing with a cup of tea and a good book, and fellowshipping with friends and family.

Facilities Manager

Tim Spaude is the Facilities Manager of New Horizons Foundation and uses his experience of over 10 years in construction and management to keep the New Horizons building and grounds in top shape. Tim has worked for multiple charitable organizations throughout his career and has a heart to give back to his community. Outside of work, Tim enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Vice President of Outreach

Greg has been with the Foundation since 2012 and currently serves as the Vice President of Outreach for New Horizons Foundation. Greg is involved in capacity building and partnering with individuals and non-profit organizations desiring to increase their global impact. Greg holds a B.A. in Accounting and Economics with a minor in Computer Science from Anderson University. Greg enjoys time with family, endurance cycling, playing the saxophone and many outdoor activities.
