All Things New Prayer Ministry

All Things New Prayer Ministry was birthed in the early 1990’s through four women who desired concentrated time to pray for their own needs and to intercede for others seeking prayer from them. What characterized each one was a desire to find others who genuinely wanted to hear from the Lord before praying—to invite the counsel of the Spirit rather than present a list or litany of requests based on their human perspective.

Together with like-minded women in their church’s Women’s Ministry they founded First Saturday (now Second Saturday). Its goal was to provide a time and place each month for other women to learn to wait on the Lord, to have uninterrupted time of quiet in which to pray, and to have two other women to pray with each time, agreeing together in their requests and in the counsel of the Holy Spirit. In 2007 we welcomed men into All Things New, introducing a balance and expansion of the ministry.
