Books for Inmates
During my last visit to jail, only half the class of 18 women had books. We are completely out of books. These ladies wept openly as they read out loud these personalized scripture prayers with the Hebrew names of God.
Over the past four years, we have provided HOPE to over 10,000 individuals, many of whom are incarcerated, and attribute our books, devotionals (in English and Spanish), and new prayerbook to saving their lives.
One inmate recently shared with me that during her first night in jail in solitary confinement, she begged for something to read and was given a copy of my book. She read it over and over again. She said she would not have made it through the night if it hadn’t been for my book.
