After her visit to Born Like Others Orphanage in Masaka, Uganda in October of 2023, Talisa saw that there was a great need for people to come together and serve the world's most at risk youth---those who are living in extreme poverty.

We partner with organizations like Born Like Others, who currently provide for the needs of over 60 children at their full time residential home. This program also provides assistance with school fees, school supplies and clothing for an increasing number of needy children within the community.

We aim to send missionaries once a year, in order to raise awareness for the organization, and to document the lives and stories of the youth who are experiencing extreme poverty.

We strongly stand on James 1:2-3, which reads

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,

because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”

While we all face certain trials and tribulations in life, we are called to still have joy in our hearts.

While spending time with the children of Born Like Others, Talisa was able to see the pureness of their joy, and even though they were facing heartbreaking situations, they still managed to find joy because they had the peace of the Lord instilled within their hearts.

It is our belief that we who are given more, should use our resources to uplift those who are in need.

Why:  According to a 2023 report from the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the World Bank, 333 million children worldwide are living in extreme poverty, which is more than half of the world's extreme poor. Without an education and a way out of poverty, most of these children will be forced to choose a life of crime, or prostitution in order to survive.

Why This Way: Organizations like Born Like Others in third world countries are in need of US support because our social climate is much different, and we have much more resources available to us. They are in need of support and monthly donations in order to stay sustainable and to be able to directly help the children

Why Us: Unfortunately when it comes to these types of third world organizations, there are a lot of scammers out there. People who want to help are unsure if their donations are actually making a direct impact.

We have set up a vigorous application process, and are able to send out missionaries and representatives to be able to verify and survey the organization before we begin partnering with them.

Like the sifting of the wheat and tares (Matthew 13:24-30)  We are called to help sort through the wheat, so that these kids don’t get lost in the weeds.

Why Now:

We are a new organization, but these children are facing a desperate situation. With your help, we can make sure to get their needs provided for, so that they don’t have to go hungry another day.

Our ultimate goal is to bring joy to the lost. To restore their hope, and to bring them home to Christ.
