Truth Only Bible Ministries

Our mission is to provide accurate, high-quality Bible teaching through writing, publishing, and speaking, and to make this teaching available for free or at low cost in both English and Spanish. Our major activities include:

(1) The revision and translation into Spanish of Dr. Anderson’s eight-volume Interpretive Guide to the Bible. So far the first four volumes have been fully revised and updated. Volumes 5 and 8 have been partially revised and updated, with revisions in progress for volumes 6 and 7. Volumes 1-3 and portions of volume 8 have been translated into Spanish

(2) Writing a groundbreaking commentary on the book of Revelation. See this information sheet and these sample draft chapters: Introduction, 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, Excursus on Babylon the Great, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22. A Spanish translation of this commentary will also be produced.

(3) Assisting with the Bible translation projects of Bibles International, mainly by providing technical assistance in the area of biblical languages and by translating training materials into Spanish.

(4) Publishing articles related to the Bible on truthonlybible.com and responding to comments and messages from people who contact me with questions. Claudia Murillo has translated a number of my blog articles into Spanish.

(5) Conducting continuing research in areas of academic specialization, especially Darius the Mede (the subject of my PhD dissertation) and Biblical Aramaic. With regard to Aramaic, see the articles Aramaic: The Bible’s third language and Resources for Biblical Aramaic, and this video interview.

(6) Church ministry involvement, in both English and Spanish.

(7) Other editorial and translation projects, including making a Spanish translation of part of the Photo Companion to the Bible.
