The Haven encourages and fosters a safe place for God’s next generation in order to provide: Engaged fellowship in regular gatherings Individual mentorship with mature Christian men and women, A safe haven for those in crisis; when the need arises.

The Haven encourages and fosters a safe place for God’s next generation in order to provide:

  • Engaged fellowship in regular gatherings (men and women’s Life Groups, young couples study, and social events aka Young Adult Hangout)
  • Individual mentorship with mature Christian men and women with a focus on growing and nurturing their walk with Jesus; enabling accountability and fellowship with others
  • A safe haven for those in crisis; when the need arises as a respite from the challenges of daily life and prayer to walk in faith.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, a majority of people experienced an extended period of isolation resulting in increased mental health issues, social isolation, and a lack of community. For over two years, previously established communities deteriorated and social norms eroded as people focused on personal safety and virtual communities formed online. As the period of isolation ended, new relationships and communities had to be formed.

Today, the young adult population (primarily college aged students) is in a period of seeking community and a deeper meaning to their lives. The Haven provides a place to develop fellowship that grows into community fostering a culture of trust and ability to have meaningful conversations about relationships, faith, and walking with Jesus Christ.

Why is The Haven unique?  We are focused on building unity, community, and culture in our young adults focused on our core values and beliefs.

The Haven is intentional in its approach and deliberate in its actions; always seeking God first and focused on developing a personal relationship through salvation in Jesus.

Having a place to gather in a social setting creates an environment of safety: where people feel comfortable and can be themselves.
