Nimo Africa

Nimo Africa was founded with a heart of compassion and faith. We exist to uplift primary and secondary students in underserved communities in Arusha, Tanzania. Nimo in Swahili means “I am”; we want those who hear it to proclaim it. I am here. I matter. I belong. Our team believes that when a child is uplifted, it can transform a community.

What We Do

• Organize school events and competitions to motivate students, give confidence, increase attendance, and create a positive school atmosphere
• Provide essential resources like books, menstrual hygiene products, Bible study materials, and sports equipment
• Help launch student clubs focused on music, faith, the environment, and developing individual talents and skills
